So earlier today, I wrote about the Davidson Wildcats, and their improbable journey to the Elite 8.
With a final score of 59-57, Kansas ended the Wildcats dream run, and joined the other #1 seeds in San Antonio next weekend for the Final Four.
So, here are the matchups:
#1 North Carolina vs. #1 Kansas
#1 Memphis vs. #1 UCLA
My initial picks....North Carolina over Kansas, UCLA over Memphis, UCLA over Carolina for the title.
I have no data, no film study, no rationale for those picks, but I will go into further detail once I've done my research.
Either, I'm just glad to be along for the ride...

I have the exact opposite in my picks--I have Kansas vs. UCLA in the final, with Kansas taking it all. Part of it is wishful thinking...
ReplyDeleteThe more I think about it, I feel like Kansas is going to beat North Carolina. Especially since the Jayhawk lost Roy Williams to North Carolina after the Final Four in 2002. I think Kansas beats North Carolina, but loses to UCLA in the final.
ReplyDeleteoh yeah, I already lost all of my pools...so now, I just want 3 more entertaining games...because after those are done, I'm stuck watching NBA games (boring) and baseball (even worse)....
