ReplyDeleteBut, I have to add that CNN does no justice in covering the news in much detail with regards to that part of the world. I remember when Hurricane Katrina happened, coverage was widespread for months after.
When the tsunami happened in 2004, it received minimal coverage - and right now, none of the major events happening are being given adequate time on American news. I feel like Hurricane Katrina was on 24/7 for months after it took place. Not to displace the importance and aftermath of one over the other - but, it irks me to know that some of these major catastrophes aren't getting as much coverage here.
Ok, I digress...
